What is your business, and what do you make?
Oyama Soap Company, Artistic natural handmade soap and body products

How did you get started in this business?
I got started in this business to fulfill my creative side and live more on the right side of my brain. To share my creative pieces with others and make them smile

Is this a full time job for you?

What is your first memory of making something?
My first memory of making something was when I was 3 years old, I made walnut sail boats made of walnuts , putty and tooth picks , with a paper sail. And all the kids in the neighbourhood raced them down the streets on a rainy day

What are your favorite and least favorite things about being craft fair vendor?
Being part of the community , being my own boss, working with others of the same mind.  Its hard Wearing all hats of the business everyday.

What is the biggest compliment you’ve ever received about your work?
The biggest compliment I have received is people complimenting my artistic ability, watching people stop and look at my soap cakes and the smiles I see.

What is one holiday tradition in your family?
Taking a walk on Christmas eve no matter were we are.

What was the last gift you gave someone?
I gave my oldest daughter my Blundstone boots that I have had for a very long time and they are still perfect condition and they are very trendy at the moment who would of thought?

If you won $20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?
Expand my business and hire people and get it all over the world. Travel, and give some money to the family.
